Make your photo ready to post
Choose a photo, edit it, adjust the background, margins and size, then save. The tool finds the subject's bounds after background removal and centers it. For an already transparent PNG, turn off automatic removal to adjust margins without removing anything.
Transparent and white backgrounds
The checkerboard shows transparency and is not saved. PNG and WebP preserve transparency. JPG does not, so transparent areas are saved as white even if you selected a transparent background.
To reduce file size
For JPG or WebP, enter a target size and the tool will try lowering quality to meet it. If even the lowest quality exceeds the limit, it shows the actual size. Try smaller dimensions instead. PNG uses lossless saving and is not forced to meet a size limit.
How it works and its limits
Your photos are not sent to a server. On first use, the engine downloads from jsDelivr, the detailed model from Hugging Face, and the fast model from this site. Clear subjects work best. Fine hair, translucent objects and complex backgrounds may leave or remove unwanted areas. Check the result. Manual erase and restore tools are not included.
For reliable mobile processing, images are reduced to a maximum long side of 2,048 px without changing the original file. Animations become still images. Wi-Fi is recommended while preparing the model.
