Keep your recipe's proportions
New amount = original amount × (desired servings ÷ original servings). Going from 2 to 5 multiplies amounts by 2.5: 200 g becomes 500 g and 1/2 tbsp becomes 1.25 tbsp. Results use up to two decimal places; tiny amounts display as less than 0.01 rather than zero.
Units stay the same
Cup sizes and ingredient densities vary, so g/mL and cups/g aren't converted automatically. Keep the original units and use a scale when needed.
Check seasoning and cooking time separately
Use scaled seasoning as a guide, adding gradually and tasting. Cooking time and heat don't grow in the same ratio as servings. Adjust for cookware size and ingredient thickness. For eggs and other hard-to-divide ingredients, weigh portions or adapt to the recipe.
Recipes aren't sent to a server or saved automatically. Copy your result into your own notes if needed.
